Department Head - F&A

Job PurposeTo lead the Finance & Commercial function of the Unit by ensuring robust financial governance, effective business partnering, statutory compliance, cost optimization, working capital management, risk mitigation, commercial excellence and capability development to support sustainable business performance and operational efficiency
Key Accountabilities & SupportActions
1. Finance & Accounting - Ensure accurate and timely closure of accounts, compliance with accounting standards, and robust financial governance across the Unit.2. Working Capital Management - Drive optimization of receivables, payables, inventory and cash flows to improve liquidity and minimize finance costs.3. MIS, Planning, Budgeting & Capex - Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting and Capex evaluation to support effective business decision-making.4. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance - Ensure timely compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, commercial laws and maximize available incentives and tax benefits.5. Risk Management & Insurance - Drive risk identification, mitigation and business continuity planning while ensuring adequate and cost-effective insurance coverage.6. Internal Controls & Process Excellence - Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, audit readiness and implementation of SOPs and compliance requirements.7. Cost Optimization, Logistics & Commercial Management - Partner with operations and supply chain teams to optimize logistics, inventory and scrap management costs while driving commercial efficiency.8. Systems, Safety & Sustainability - Support implementation of digital finance systems and facilitate achievement of Safety, Sustainability and WCM objectives.9. People Leadership & Capability Building - Lead, develop and engage the Finance & Commercial team to build a high-performance, future-ready organization.
