Sr. Project Architect - Sports

Role Description:
The Sr. Project Architect – Sports will lead the design and coordination of sports projects and related infrastructure from concept through construction documentation and delivery. This full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves overseeing architectural design development, preparing and reviewing drawings, details, and specifications, and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. The role includes managing project submissions and approvals, coordinating with structural, MEP, and other consultants, and supervising internal project teams to meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements. The Sr. Project Architect will participate in client meetings, present design options, respond to technical queries, and support construction administration, including site visits and resolution of design issues. The position also requires adherence to sustainability standards and integration of advanced tools such as BIM into daily workflows.
Qualifications:
Strong architectural design and documentation skills, with experience leading complex projects, preferably sports or large public facilities.
Proficiency in handling submittals, reviews, and coordination of drawings and technical documents with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for design coordination, clash detection, and documentation.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles; familiarity with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) or similar green building standards is an advantage.
Demonstrated project management abilities, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and risk management for multi-disciplinary teams.
Relevant professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead design discussions and guide junior team members.
Comfort working on-site in Mumbai and conducting regular site visits to oversee design execution and resolve technical issues.
