Job Summary
Everest Industries is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Planning Engineer to support production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and shop-floor operations at its Roorkee location. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of manufacturing processes, good analytical skills, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing daily and weekly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with production, stores, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
Monitor production progress against planned targets and report any deviations.
Track raw material availability and coordinate with the concerned departments to avoid production delays.
Maintain production planning reports, records, and MIS data.
Support capacity planning, manpower allocation, and machine utilization monitoring.
Identify production bottlenecks and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Track work-in-progress (WIP), production output, and dispatch schedules.
Ensure adherence to production timelines, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in production planning, PPC, or manufacturing operations.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning concepts.
Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of ERP/SAP systems will be an advantage.
Required Skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong coordination and communication abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
Time management and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Willingness to work at the plant location in Roorkee.
