Job Summary
Everest Industries Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Planning Engineer to join its manufacturing team at Roorkee. The candidate will assist in production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and monitoring manufacturing activities to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of production targets.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing daily and weekly production plans based on orders and production requirements.
Coordinate with production, stores, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor daily production output against planned targets.
Track raw material availability and coordinate with the concerned departments to avoid production delays.
Maintain production reports, MIS, and planning-related documentation.
Support manpower and machine utilization planning.
Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and update production schedules as required.
Identify production delays and escalate issues to the reporting manager.
Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Assist in preparing Excel reports related to production performance and material consumption.
Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Freshers with a strong interest in production planning and manufacturing operations.
Candidates with academic projects or internships related to production, manufacturing, or supply chain will have an added advantage.
Candidates must be willing to work at the plant location in Roorkee, Uttarakhand.
