About The Company
Erias Ventures, LLC is a technology-focused company seeking talented engineers to support a growing team and contribute to challenging software development work. The company values technical strength, collaboration, and the ability to deliver dependable solutions as customer needs and project requirements evolve. Engineers at Erias Ventures work across Windows and Unix environments, creating and improving software that supports specialized applications and operational requirements.
The team brings together professionals who apply engineering fundamentals, practical problem-solving, and a commitment to quality. This opportunity is suited to candidates who enjoy working in a collaborative setting, communicating with technical peers and stakeholders, and adapting their approach as projects develop. Work may involve designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software, along with refining user interfaces and supporting the integration of application components.
About The Role
Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking software engineers to join its growing technical team. In this role, you will contribute to software development across Windows and Unix environments. You will help design, develop, test, and improve software, including graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for custom applications. Your work will support evolving requirements and will require sound engineering judgment throughout the development lifecycle.
You will collaborate with other engineers and relevant project stakeholders to understand needs, evaluate possible solutions, and deliver software that meets agreed requirements. The team works in an agile setting, so priorities, technical approaches, and deliverables may change as new information becomes available. Successful candidates are comfortable responding constructively to change while keeping code quality, usability, and reliability in focus.
This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph. Applicants must be able to meet this requirement to be considered for the role.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, or a related engineering discipline, gained through relevant education, professional experience, or a combination of both. Experience designing, developing, and testing software is important, as is the ability to work effectively in Windows and Unix environments.
Qualified applicants will bring experience or demonstrated capability in building graphical user interfaces and developing custom software applications. They should be able to understand technical requirements, break work into manageable tasks, and contribute to maintainable solutions. Familiarity with agile development practices and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are valuable.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills are essential. Candidates should be able to work productively with a technical team, share progress and concerns, and document or explain their work when needed. Attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to software quality are important. An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software for applications operating in Windows and Unix environments. Build and enhance GUIs for custom applications, with attention to usability and alignment with user and project requirements. Review requirements, contribute to technical discussions, and help translate needs into practical software features.
Identify and resolve defects, investigate technical issues, and support improvements to application performance, reliability, and maintainability. Work with team members to integrate software components, validate functionality, and deliver changes in accordance with project expectations. Participate in agile planning and review activities, communicate progress, and adjust work as requirements or priorities evolve.
Benefits
Erias Ventures, LLC offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful technical work alongside a growing team of engineers. Employees can engage in varied software challenges, work across multiple operating environments, and continue developing their skills through practical project experience. Specific compensation, leave, insurance, retirement, and other benefit details should be confirmed with the company during the hiring process.
Equal Opportunity
