Business Development Representative

Most companies first talk to us while they are still deciding whether to sell in the United States, long before anyone signs a proposal. We are hiring a Business Development Representative to find and qualify those companies, book first calls with our consultants and keep track of every conversation that follows. The job is full-time and remote, and you can work from anywhere in the United States.
Most of your week will go to these things:
- Research manufacturers, distributors and service companies that are preparing to sell in a new market
- Contact decision makers by email, phone and LinkedIn and book first calls with our consultants
- Qualify each lead against the questions our consultants need answered before a proposal
- Keep accounts, contacts and next steps current in HubSpot
- Prepare a short company brief before each first call
- Report each week on the pipeline and on the reasons conversations stall Dune works with companies that are new to the American market: who to sell to first, which distributor to trust, what has to be in place before the first order ships. Our office is in Las Vegas.
To do this well you need:
- A bachelor's degree, or one to two years in sales, customer service or account support
- Experience with a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Outbound calls and short business emails as part of a past job, internship or campus role Bonus points for:
- B2B sales experience in manufacturing, logistics or technology
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
