Associate Manager - Regulatory & Contracts -

Job Purpose
To support the effective management of contractual and commercial obligations for Smart Metering projects by assisting in the drafting, review, negotiation, execution, and administration of contracts. The role is responsible for providing contractual support during tendering, project award, and execution phases, identifying and mitigating contractual risks, facilitating the closure of AMISP agreements, and resolving contract-related issues throughout the project lifecycle to safeguard the organization's interests and ensure successful project delivery.

Accountabilities
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assist in drafting , negotiating and finalization of contracts and contracts administration related to the following:
Smart Meter Supply Contracts
Technology Service contracts i.e bundled services
Consumer Indexing and Installation Contracts
Cable supply contracts
Supply contracts for all other auxiliary items i.e. SMC boxes/LTCT etc.
All Other Contracts/engagement Letters Required For Smart Meter Projects
Trouble shooting the contractual issues through out the tenure of all these contracts
Assist in Tendering process where it is decided that GMR will participate:
Study the tender documents to identify key risk items
Prepare key contractual provisions list
Any Other Support As May Be Required.
Assist in conclusion leading upto Execution of AMISP Contracts and post execution of the Contracts:
Review of LOI and LOAs issued by Utilities
Identify list of changes to be required under LOI and LOA.
Help in preparation of draft reply to incorporate the changes as above.
Prepare documentation for conclusion/signing of AMISP contracts
Help in signing of Direct Debit Agreements.
Help in trouble shooting issues during installation and operation period of AMISP contracts.
Recovery of disputed/undisputed amounts from the Utility
Any other assignment as may be directed by the management

Education Qualifications
