Security Architect

As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and defining the overall cloud security framework and architecture to align with organisational goals. This role requires careful planning to ensure that security measures meet business needs and performance standards. The professional documents the deployment of cloud security controls and oversees the smooth transition of these controls into ongoing cloud security-managed operations, collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain a secure cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the development and implementation of cloud security strategies to protect organisational assets.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure security requirements are clearly understood and met.
Continuously evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the cloud security posture.
Requirements:
Proficiency inServicenow DeveloperGovernance, Risk & Compliance / Secops Tools.
Experience with Security Architecture Design.
Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
Ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with cloud environments.
Experience in designing security controls and frameworks tailored to cloud infrastructures.
Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements related to cloud security.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance/ Secops Tools.
A 15-year full-time education is required.
