We are looking for a QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in functional and UI testing, with hands-on experience in API testing (Postman), database validation (SQL), and automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
Manual Testing (Web and Mobile Apps):
Design, develop, and execute test cases for functional, UI, regression, and cross-browser testing.
Perform web and mobile testing across different platforms and devices (Android, iOS).
Conduct cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and cross-device testing.
API and Database Testing:
Perform API testing using Postman (validating requests, responses, authentication, and headers).
Write and execute SQL queries to verify database integrity and ensure data consistency.
Automation Testing (Web and Mobile Apps):
Develop automation test scripts using Selenium (Web), Cypress, Playwright, or Appium (Mobile).
Implement test automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
Maintain and enhance existing test automation suites.
Performance Testing (Good to Have):
Conduct performance testing using JMeter, k6 or Locust.
Bug Reporting and Agile Testing:
Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure issue resolution.
Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
Required Skills: Manual Testing: Functional, UI, Regression, Cross-Browser, Mobile App Testing
API Testing: Postman (Collections, Assertions, Headers, Authentication, Environment).
Database Testing: SQL queries for data validation (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Automation Testing: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (Web), Appium (Mobile)
Test Frameworks: Jest, Mocha, and Chai (for JavaScript/TypeScript automation) CI/CD.
Integration: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD Bug.
Tracking Tools: JIRA, TestRail, or similar defect tracking systems.
Agile Testing: Experience with Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
