Responsibilities:
Design and develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems using Node.js
Architect, optimize, and manage SQL databases for high-performance applications.
Implement and manage event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Ensure observability and monitoring (logging, tracing, and alerting).
Optimize API performance for low-latency, high-throughput applications.
Drive system design discussions and propose scalable solutions.
Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
5-8 years of experience in backend development.
Strong expertise in Node.js, SQL and database design.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
Experience with Kafka, Redis, and scalable backend systems.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
Strong system design and architectural decision-making skills.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical projects.
Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack) is a plus.
