Cloud Developer - Java

Responsibilities:
Define/refine the DevOps process, including roles and responsibilities, configuration management, environment management, and quality gates for product/project environments.
Work with architect(s) and the development team to enhance the DevOps toolchain and build tools to facilitate operations and to ensure stability of the business solution.
Have up-to-date knowledge on enterprise guidelines and standards and contribute towards architectural decision-making on the DevOps topics.
Defining and implementing the best practices for system configuration, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Explore and analyze new elements/features/limitations of Allianz Group standard solutions and developments in global DevOps.
Actualize the DevOps processes for environment management, including infrastructure, platform, and application lifecycle.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate actively in knowledge-sharing activities like communities of practice, and/or other knowledge exchanges
Evaluate the impact of new regulatory topics like DORA and ensure compliance.
Identify and implement changes that can enhance the security posture.
Own the release management process and take part in release planning with other leads.
Managing existing infrastructure, platform, and application.
Own and perform regulatory compliance and security-related activities.
Perform regular exercises like DR, Pentest, release management, etc.
Collaboration and communication with other leads and DevOps practice.
Enhancing the existing DevOps toolchain and building operational tools.
Documentation and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
Open-minded, good communication and interpersonal skills.
Fast learner and curious.
Able to lead the DevOps practice within the team.
Supported a production system/services based on the above technology(s).
Good experience with scripting/automation.
Has a good understanding of the traditional enterprise technology stack and enterprise networking concepts.
Has basic understanding of the Agile software development framework (e. g., Scrum) and tools (e. g., JIRA).
Have worked with security enhancements within the overall infra and operations scope.
Previous experience with owning and handling the release management process.
Preferred/Additional Technical and Professional Expertise:
Working with change management of a production-grade application.
Have a basic understanding of regulations like DORA.
Programming knowledge and experience in any general-purpose programming language.
Has experience in any relational database operations.
Has a good understanding of the traditional enterprise technology stack and enterprise networking concepts.
Have experience/sound.
Relevant experience and hands-on experience in the below:
Public cloud stack: Azure.
Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes.
Automation: Ansible, Terraform.
CI/CD: GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps.
Observability tool, e. g., Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, or ELK stack.
