Procurement Operations Manager

A global pharmaceutical company is scaling its India hub and has partnered with Flexiple to hire a leader for its procurement operations. You will run the engine room of buying - the systems, data, and processes that keep purchasing fast, clean, and compliant. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Role Overview
As a Procurement Operations Manager, you will own the procure-to-pay process end to end - purchase requisitions, approvals, POs, and invoicing - and keep the function running on accurate data and tight SLAs. The focus is operational excellence, not category strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Procure-to-Pay
Own the P2P process from requisition to payment, end to end
Keep PO, invoice, and approval workflows accurate and on time
Manage master data, catalogues, and supplier records in the ERP
Performance & Controls
Track procurement SLAs, cycle times, and operational KPIs
Drive process improvement and strengthen compliance controls
Ideal Candidate Profile
3 to 7 years in procurement operations, P2P, or buying support roles
A process-first mindset with strong attention to detail
Hands-on with ERP or P2P systems and operational reporting
Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in pharma, life sciences, or a regulated environment
Familiarity with process-improvement methods (Lean or Six Sigma)
Exposure to SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar platforms
