Guest Service Associate (Housekeeping)

Key Responsibilities

Room Cleaning:
Make beds, change linens, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and clean bathrooms
according to hotel procedures.
·
Replenish Supplies:
Restock guest amenities, toiletries, towels, and room items (like coffee and
glassware).
·
Inspect and Report:
Check that all room appliances and lights work properly. Report any maintenance
issues, room damage, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. greet
guests warmly in hallways and public areas, and handle special requests or
complaints politely.
·
Lost and Found:
Log and turn in any items left behind by guests following company policy.
·
Safety and Hygiene:
Handle cleaning chemicals safely, wear protective gear, and keep the
housekeeping cart and storage areas clean and organized.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
Degree in hospitality or
housekeeping.
·
Experience:
Previous housekeeping or customer service experience in a hotel setting is
preferred, but entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are welcome.
·
Skills:
Good communication skills, basic local language proficiency, and time
management skills to finish tasks during a shift.

Room Maintenance:
Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to high hotel standards.
·
Bed Making:
Make beds neatly with fresh linens and proper hospital corners.
·
Sanitization:
Disinfect high-touch surfaces like doorknobs, light switches, and remote
controls.
·
Inventory Handling:
Restock room amenities, towels, and cleaning supplies correctly.
Equipment and Safety.
·
Machine Operation:
Use vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet extractors safely.
·
Chemical Safety:
Handle cleaning chemicals and dilutions properly following safety rules.
·
Lost and Found:
Report and log guest items l
