Role Description The Manager - Vendor Procurement (BTL) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role is responsible for end-to-end vendor procurement for below-the-line (BTL) activities, including identifying and onboarding vendors, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The manager will oversee negotiations, contracts, and pricing to achieve cost efficiencies while maintaining quality standards for marketing and operational requirements. Daily tasks include tracking vendor performance, coordinating with internal stakeholders such as marketing, operations, and finance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement guidelines. The role also involves monitoring market trends, preparing procurement reports, and supporting process improvements to strengthen the overall vendor ecosystem.
Qualifications
Strong procurement and vendor management skills, including experience in BTL sourcing and supplier evaluation.
Proficiency in contract negotiation and contract management, with the ability to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
Excellent analytical skills to assess vendor performance, costs, and market trends, and to support data-driven decisions.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
3–7 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in tech-driven, real estate, or consumer-facing businesses.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and adhere to timelines and budget constraints.
Familiarity with procurement tools, ERP systems, and basic MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
