Role Description As an Admission Counsellor at University Dekho Educational Services, you will support prospective students through the entire admission process. This full-time, on-site role based in Vikasnagar involves engaging with students and families, understanding their academic interests, and recommending suitable courses and institutions. You will conduct counseling sessions, respond to inquiries, explain admission criteria, and assist with application forms and documentation. The role includes maintaining accurate records of interactions, following up with leads, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely updates. You may also participate in outreach activities, events, and seminars to promote educational programs and build strong relationships with students and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to counsel students and interact with families effectively.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, provide guidance, and maintain a supportive student experience.
Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert leads into successful admissions and meet enrollment targets ethically.
Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience to understand academic pathways, admission processes, and institutional requirements.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree (preferably in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field) and prior experience in admissions or academic counseling are beneficial.
Additional skills such as basic computer proficiency, data entry accuracy, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams are advantageous.
