Responsibilities
On-Camera Presentation: Deliver news stories with clarity, confidence, and professionalism.
Live & Recorded Reporting: Anchor live news segments and record pre-scripted news bulletins.
Interviewing & Field Reporting: Conduct interviews with newsmakers, experts, and witnesses, both in-studio and on-location.
Content Development: Research, script, and present engaging news content for video segments.
Fact-Checking & Accuracy: Ensure all reports adhere to journalistic ethics and factual accuracy.
Collaboration: Work closely with editors, video producers, and fellow reporters to create compelling news packages.
Multimedia & Digital Presence: Utilize social media and video platforms to amplify news reach and engagement.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated with current affairs, emerging trends, and audience preferences.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong on-camera presence with excellent verbal communication skills.
Passion for journalism and storytelling.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of journalistic ethics, media law, and fact-checking.
Prior experience in news anchoring, reporting, or video journalism (preferred but not required).
Familiarity with digital journalism, video editing, and social media reporting.
Ability to conduct interviews and report from the field.
