AI Solution Architect

We are looking for a seasoned AI Solution Architect with strong expertise across BFSI, Data Engineering, AI/ML, and Enterprise Architecture to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives for global financial institutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong consulting and stakeholder management capabilities to architect secure, scalable, and AI-powered solutions across banking, lending, payments, insurance, and wealth management ecosystems. This is a high-impact role involving solution architecture, client advisory, pre-sales, modernization strategy, and delivery governance across enterprise Data and AI programs.
The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
Enterprise Solution Architecture:
Design end-to-end enterprise architectures across BFSI platforms, including core banking, lending, payments, insurance, and wealth management.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cloud-native architecture solutions.
Define architecture across applications, APIs, data platforms, AI/ML systems, cloud, security, and DevOps layers.
Drive architecture governance, scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization across distributed systems.
Data and AI Transformation:
Architect AI/ML-driven use cases such as: Fraud Detection, AML and Risk Monitoring, Credit Risk Modeling, Customer Intelligence and Personalization, Predictive Analytics.
Design modern data platforms including: Data Lakes / Lakehouses, Real-time Streaming Pipelines, Enterprise Data Warehouses.
Enable enterprise AI adoption using ML, GenAI, LLMs, and intelligent automation frameworks.
Ensure strong data governance, lineage, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Cloud and Modernization:
Lead cloud transformation initiatives on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Drive modernization using: Microservices, Event-driven architectures, API-first ecosystems, Containerization and Kubernetes.
Define DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and platform engineering strategies.
Enable highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise systems.
CXO Advisory and Stakeholder Management:
Partner with CXOs, business leaders, and technology stakeholders on enterprise transformation initiatives.
Lead architecture workshops, solution discussions, and executive presentations.
Translate complex technical solutions into business-aligned outcomes and value propositions.
Act as a trusted advisor across Data, AI, Cloud, and Digital Transformation programs.
Pre-Sales and Consulting:
Support pre-sales activities including RFP/RFI responses, Solution design.
Estimations and transformation roadmaps.
Collaborate with sales, consulting, and delivery teams on strategic pursuits.
Build differentiated solution narratives and enterprise transformation proposals.
Governance, Security, and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with BFSI regulatory standards, including RBI, SEBI, PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.
Drive secure architecture practices across cloud, data, and AI ecosystems.
Identify and mitigate architectural, security, and operational risks.
Establish enterprise best practices around governance, security, and compliance.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership to engineering, platform, AI, and data teams.
Ensure alignment between architecture vision and execution.
Mentor teams on modern engineering and architecture best practices.
Drive engineering excellence across large-scale transformation programs.
Requirements:
15+ years of experience in Solution Architecture / Enterprise Architecture.
Strong BFSI domain expertise across Banking, Lending, Payments, Insurance, or Wealth Management.
Experience designing large-scale Data and AI platforms.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP.
Expertise in APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and integration architectures.
Experience with enterprise data platforms, ETL/ELT, streaming, and analytics ecosystems.
Exposure to AI/ML, predictive analytics, and GenAI/LLM use cases.
Strong understanding of security, governance, and regulatory compliance in BFSI.
Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
Experience in IT Services / Consulting / Digital Transformation organizations preferred.
Preferred Background:
Experience with GenAI, Agentic AI, or LLM-based enterprise solutions.
Exposure to MLOps, DataOps, and AI governance frameworks.
TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications.
Prior experience in pre-sales or consulting engagements.
