Principal Architect

Concentric AI is seeking a Principal Architect to lead the design and development of the Endpoint agent for the DLP platform. This is a strategic technical leadership role responsible for defining the architecture, technology roadmap, and engineering standards for a modern developing endpoint agent that provides visibility and protection for sensitive data across devices, Gen AI desktop applications, removable media, and enterprise workflows. The ideal candidate has previously architected and delivered enterprise-scale endpoint agent security products at companies such as Netskope, Symantec, Broadcom, Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Forcepoint, Trellix, Palo Alto Networks, Carbon Black, or Zscaler. This role will partner closely with executive leadership, product management, and engineering teams to build a market-leading endpoint agent from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture and technical strategy for Concentric AI's endpoint agent security platform.
Establish architectural standards for reliability, security, scalability, and performance.
Drive technical decisions across macOS, Windows, and cloud services.
Lead Endpoint Engineering Strategy.
Provide technical leadership for:
MacOS:
Endpoint Security Framework.
System Extensions.
Network Extensions.
TCC Permissions.
Device Management integrations.
Performance optimisation and hardening.
Windows:
Windows Filtering Platform (WFP).
ETW File System Minifilters.
User and Kernel Mode Services.
Enterprise deployment frameworks.
Endpoint management integrations.
Requirements:
15+ years of software engineering experience.
8+ years building endpoint agent security products.
Proven track record in architecting endpoint agents deployed at enterprise scale.
Deep expertise in one or more of: Endpoint DLP, EDR, XDR, Endpoint Protection Platforms.
Strong systems programming background.
Expertise in C++, Rust, or similar low-level languages.
Experience designing distributed cloud-connected security systems.
Experience supporting deployments of 100,000+ endpoints.
Strong understanding of operating system internals.
