Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Java) to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and cloud-native solutions for next-generation data security products.
Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality backend applications using Java.
Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and maintainable systems.
Build event-driven services using Kafka.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams.
Troubleshoot, optimise, and improve application performance.
Deploy and maintain applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Build and scale applications on AWS cloud services.
Follow software engineering best practices, including code reviews and testing.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
Experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Working knowledge of AWS cloud services.
Strong SQL/database fundamentals.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of distributed systems.
Familiarity with security or data protection technologies.
CI/CD and Git experience.
