Full Stack Developer (Angular + Java)

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (Java + Angular) to join our engineering team and contribute to building enterprise-grade applications in the Supply Chain Finance domain. You will work on scalable, secure, and high-performance applications supporting solutions such as invoice discounting, invoice factoring, and working capital management for enterprise customers. While hands-on experience with Java and Angular is important, we place strong emphasis on learning ability, communication, problem-solving, and ownership. Candidates with the right attitude and strong fundamentals will be considered even if they require some mentoring or upskilling in specific areas.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Angular.
Build, integrate, and consume REST APIs connecting frontend applications with backend services.
Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Take ownership of assigned tasks, manage timelines effectively, and deliver with minimal supervision.
Contribute to the design and development of reliable enterprise applications.
Requirements:
3-7 years of experience in software development.
Strong programming skills in Java.
Hands-on experience with Angular for frontend development.
Good understanding of REST APIs, SQL databases, and web technologies.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in product-based companies is strongly preferred.
Candidates from product engineering organisations such as Thoughtworks or similar environments are highly valued.
Exposure to FinTech, Banking, Supply Chain Finance, or Financial Services is a plus.
Experience developing enterprise applications is advantageous.
Exposure to microservices architecture is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and take ownership of deliverables.
