Responsibilities:
Lead one or more product squads building secure, scalable microservices on Java 17/21 + Spring Boot, with Angular/TypeScript on the frontend.
Drive architecture reviews, design standards, and code quality across the team.
Own delivery predictability, sprint planning, release management, RCA for production incidents.
Champion AI-assisted development, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices across the organisation.
Be the technical voice in customer, architecture, and executive conversations.
Requirements:
10+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead.
Strong hands-on background in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud-native (AWS) systems before moving into management.
Experience in enterprise SaaS, fintech, banking, or other regulated B2B platforms.
Proven track record leading cross-functional teams across backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps.
