Role Description The Mechanical Engineer MRO Business role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh. In this role, the individual will support maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities by evaluating mechanical components such as couplings and roller chains, providing technical guidance to clients, and ensuring proper product selection and application. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing equipment performance, assisting with machine design considerations, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with sales and procurement teams to meet customer requirements. The role also involves coordinating with suppliers, reviewing product specifications, and contributing to process improvements that enhance reliability and efficiency in client operations. The Mechanical Engineer will interact closely with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support ongoing projects.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to industrial components and MRO applications.
Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for evaluating and recommending mechanical solutions.
Experience in Project Management to plan, coordinate, and track MRO-related activities and customer projects.
Exposure to Research and Development (R&D) for improving product application methods and supporting technical innovations.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
Familiarity with industrial couplings, roller chains, and general power transmission products is an advantage.
Effective communication and presentation skills for engaging with customers and internal teams.
Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
Basic knowledge of quality standards, safety practices, and maintenance procedures in industrial settings.
