Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electronics Communication Engineering role based in Delhi, India. The role involves monitoring, maintaining, and improving electronic and communication systems used in power distribution networks, including substation communication interfaces, control equipment, and protection systems. The engineer will support design, testing, and implementation of electronic and electrical components, troubleshoot system issues, and assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Daily tasks include analyzing system performance data, coordinating with electrical engineering and operations teams, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role may also involve participation in technology upgrades, integration of smart grid communication solutions, and support for field teams during installations and commissioning.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, with practical understanding of components, circuits, and power systems.
Candidates should possess solid Communication skills relevant to communication networks, signaling, and interfaces used in power infrastructure.
Candidates should possess excellent Analytical Skills to diagnose system issues, interpret technical data, and optimize performance.
Candidates should possess a good understanding of Electricity fundamentals, safety practices, and regulatory requirements in power distribution.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Ability to work on-site in industrial and field environments, with attention to safety and procedural compliance.
Proficiency in using engineering tools, test instruments, and relevant software for monitoring, design, and reporting.
Strong teamwork, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities; prior experience in utilities or power distribution is an advantage.
