Role Description The Telecaller role at EdifyChamps is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. In this role, the Telecaller will make outbound calls to prospective parents and students, explain EdifyChamps’ tutoring services, and respond to inquiries in a clear and professional manner. The Telecaller will be responsible for generating leads, following up on inquiries, maintaining call records, and supporting the enrollment process. Daily activities include answering incoming calls, providing accurate information, addressing basic concerns, and forwarding complex queries to the appropriate team. The role also involves meeting defined call and conversion targets while maintaining a customer-focused, courteous communication style.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with the ability to speak clearly and confidently over the phone.
Candidates should possess customer service and relationship-building skills to handle inquiries, resolve basic issues, and create a positive caller experience.
Candidates should possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills to update call logs, maintain records, and use CRM or calling software.
Candidates should possess time management and organizational skills to handle call volumes, follow up with leads, and meet performance targets.
Comfort communicating in English and Hindi (or other regional languages as needed) is highly beneficial.
Previous experience in telecalling, sales, or customer support is an advantage but not mandatory for motivated entry-level applicants.
Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and maintain a professional, respectful approach with diverse callers.
