Role Description The Company Secretary will manage corporate secretarial and compliance responsibilities for client entities on a day-to-day basis. This includes preparing and filing statutory documents, maintaining registers and records, supporting board and committee meetings, and drafting minutes, notices, and resolutions. The role involves monitoring changes in company law and related regulations, advising clients on compliance obligations, and coordinating with regulators and other stakeholders as needed. The Company Secretary will also assist in corporate actions such as incorporations, changes in capital structure, and other corporate filings, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur, requiring regular interaction with clients and internal team members.
Qualifications
Professional qualification as Company Secretary (CS), with active membership.
Strong knowledge of corporate law, secretarial standards, and regulatory compliances applicable to companies.
Proficiency in drafting minutes, resolutions, notices, and statutory documents with attention to detail and clarity.
Ability to manage multiple client assignments, maintain accurate records, and meet statutory timelines and deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability in handling sensitive corporate information.
Prior experience in a company secretarial or compliance role within a firm or corporate environment is an advantage.
