Role Description The Technical Computer Engineer at Mindenious will design, develop, and maintain core platform features that support scalable, reliable learning and career-development experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and testing software components, troubleshooting system issues, optimizing performance, and collaborating with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. The role also involves integrating third-party tools, improving system security and data integrity, and contributing to documentation and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams and active participation in planning and innovation discussions.
Qualifications
Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for web or platform development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar), with experience in object-oriented design and debugging.
Knowledge of computer engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and basic networking concepts.
Experience with web application frameworks, APIs, and database management (SQL or NoSQL) to build and maintain scalable systems.
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), basic DevOps practices, and software testing methodologies to ensure quality and maintainability.
Ability to analyze requirements, conduct technical research, and propose solutions that align with product and business goals.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site, cross-functional team environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to document technical work and coordinate with non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; relevant internships or project experience in ed-tech or platform development is an advantage.
