Role Description The Technical Computer Engineer at Mindenious is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software and systems that power the Mindenious ed-tech platform, including back-end services, integrations, and performance optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing technical solutions, troubleshooting system issues, collaborating with product and academic teams, and ensuring platform reliability and security. The engineer will participate in code reviews, document technical processes, and support deployment and monitoring activities. This position also involves contributing to continuous improvement efforts and providing technical input to enhance the learner and mentor experience.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in computer engineering or computer science, with knowledge of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript) and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with web or backend development frameworks, APIs, and database technologies (SQL or NoSQL) for building scalable applications.
Understanding of system architecture, networking basics, and operating systems, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), deployment pipelines, and monitoring tools is highly beneficial.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and document solutions effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Interest in educational technology and a motivation to build solutions that support student growth and industry readiness.
