Role Description The Android Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications in collaboration with product, design, and QA teams. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, integrating APIs and third-party services, optimizing apps for performance and scalability, and troubleshooting and resolving bugs. The role also involves participating in code reviews, contributing to technical documentation, and staying current with Android best practices and emerging technologies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, requiring close coordination with cross-functional team members to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Android development skills, including proficiency in Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, and common design patterns (MVC/MVVM).
Candidates should possess skills in UI/UX implementation, such as Material Design, responsive layouts, custom views, and intuitive interaction design.
Candidates should possess skills in working with RESTful APIs, JSON, data storage (Room, SQLite), and integration with backend and third-party services.
Candidates should possess skills in testing and quality assurance, including unit testing, instrumentation testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
Candidates should possess skills in modern mobile technologies and tools, such as Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with AR/VR, AI/ML, or IoT integration is an advantage.
Relevant qualifications include a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and prior experience delivering production Android apps.
