Role Description This part-time, remote Program Manager role focuses on coordinating and driving key initiatives across product, research, and customer-facing projects. The Program Manager will structure project plans, define milestones, and manage timelines to ensure successful delivery of drug development and AI model-related programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing cross-functional meetings, tracking dependencies and risks, maintaining clear documentation, and communicating status updates to stakeholders. The role also involves aligning technical teams and external partners, refining processes for program execution, and supporting leadership with reporting and decision-ready insights. This position is ideal for someone comfortable working asynchronously with distributed teams and contributing to a fast-evolving startup environment.
Qualifications
Program and project management skills, including roadmap planning, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, data science, biology, and operations) and managing stakeholder communication.
Strong organizational, documentation, and process-improvement skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to work independently in a remote, startup setting, prioritize multiple initiatives, and adapt to changing requirements.
Familiarity with biotechnology, computational biology, or pharmaceutical R&D, or strong interest in learning these domains.
Comfort with using modern collaboration tools (e.g., project management software, shared documentation platforms, and communication tools).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to translate complex technical information into clear action items.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as life sciences, engineering, computer science, business, or a related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in a startup, innovation, or research-focused environment is a plus.
