Role Description This full-time IIB/ACE Administrator role is a hybrid position based in Bengaluru South, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The IIB/ACE Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM Integration Bus / App Connect Enterprise environments across development, test, and production systems. Daily tasks include managing deployments, monitoring performance, troubleshooting integration issues, and ensuring high availability and security of middleware components. The role will involve collaborating with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to optimize integrations, support incident resolution, and implement changes following established processes. The administrator will also maintain documentation, participate in release planning, and contribute to continuous improvement of integration standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) administration, including installation, configuration, and environment management.
Experience with middleware and integration platforms, covering message flows, queues, brokers, and related components in enterprise integration architectures.
Proficiency in monitoring, performance tuning, logging, and troubleshooting integration issues across multiple environments (dev, test, prod).
Understanding of networking, operating systems (preferably Linux/Unix and Windows), and infrastructure concepts relevant to secure and scalable integration solutions.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, scripting or automation tools, and version control systems to support streamlined deployment and configuration management.
Knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and security practices such as SSL/TLS, authentication, and authorization in enterprise systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in middleware administration.
Prior experience in enterprise integration, financial services, telecom, or other large-scale environments is an advantage.
Willingness to work in a hybrid model in Bengaluru South and support occasional off-hours production activities when required.
