SAP FICA Solution Architect

Typical Job Responsibilities
· Core FI-CA Configuration: Design and configure SAP FI-CA / FS-CD components including contract accounts, master data, document posting, clearing control, payment processing, and dunning.
· Insurance Integration: Manage integration touchpoints between SAP FI-CA and external/legacy Policy Administration Systems (PAS) and Claims Management systems for premium collections, payouts, and commissions.
· Process Transformation: Lead or participate in end-to-end implementations, rollouts, or S/4HANA transformations specific to insurance financial workflows.
· Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Gather business requirements from insurance sector stakeholders, map gaps, and coordinate across cross-functional or multi-vendor delivery teams.
· Very good knowledge of Convergent Mediation as part of SAP
· Strong overall knowledge of Information Technology in insurance Domain with particular focus on Finance
· Strong understanding of the systems and architecture enabling SAPs processes related to insurance industry, Reports related IRDA
· Knowledge of Order Management, Billing, A/R, A/P, CM, CC, CI, FI-CA
· Strong customer and quality focus, highly motivated and able to work independently
· Analyze business processes, gather requirements, and deliver scalable SAP solutions to improve operational efficiency
· Strong Collaborative mindset (across teams and functions)
· Working in Agile development environment (preferably SCRUM) and DevOps; with cross-cultural and onshore teams is an advantage

Common Key Skills & Requirements
· Experience Range: Typically, 10 to 15+ years of relevant SAP functional experience, depending on whether the role is for a senior consultant or a program manager.
· Domain Knowledge: Hands-on industry exposure to life, non-life, or health insurance business processes (premium collection, dunning, returns, and clearing).
· Technical Exposure: Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FICA/FS-CD, SAP HANA, and familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.
