Role Description The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including inventory control, material receipts, storage, and dispatch activities. This full-time, on-site role in Ernakulam involves maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring material movements, and ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company procedures. The role includes coordinating with production, procurement, and logistics teams to support smooth manufacturing workflows, while upholding safety and housekeeping standards in the store area. The Store Manager will also supervise store staff, implement loss prevention practices, and ensure timely availability of materials to meet production schedules.
Qualifications
Strong customer-focused approach, with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service to support internal and external stakeholders.
Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Store Management, including inventory control, stock verification, and documentation.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention or similar loss control practices to minimize discrepancies and material wastage.
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably in cable assemblies, plastics, or related sectors.
Ability to use inventory management software or ERP systems; strong MS Office skills are an advantage.
Proven organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
