Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, tracking receivables and payables, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. The role involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and cost tracking, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management teams, respond to audit and documentation requests, and help improve financial processes and controls.

Candidates should possess strong skills in general accounting, ledger management, and bank reconciliation.

A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in manufacturing or chemical industries is an advantage.
