Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Regional Manager – Loan Sanctioning based in the Mumbai . The Regional Manager will oversee loan sanctioning operations within the assigned western region.
Job Description :
Act as the liaison between field loan sanctioning teams and Head Office.
Review, recommend, and approve loans as per policy guidelines.
Conduct area reviews, field visits, cross-checks, and risk assessments.
Monitor high-risk business units and prepare corrective action plans.
Track market trends and recommend industry best practices.
Coordinate with Business and Collection teams for timely issue resolution
Escalate critical field issues and ensure prompt action.
Ensure compliance with training, audit, and bank policy requirements.
Lead credit administration through staff mentoring, monitoring, and performance management.
Support sanctioning units with administrative, infrastructural, and manpower planning activities.
Monitor and consolidate operational data and MIS from the field.
Skill Set Required:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
8–10 years of experience in Credit Underwriting in Micro Finance.
Prior exposure of NBFC, or financial services.
Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
