About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Most design jobs hand you a brand guideline and ask you to fill it. This one asks you to write the guideline, then bring it to life in motion.
We're Markwiz, a creative and digital agency of eight in Whitefield, Bengaluru. Three years old, built client by client. We do branding, web, social, SEO, paid ads and video production for real estate developers, schools, jewellery brands, resorts and D2C businesses.
The work
A month here might include a launch identity for a jewellery brand, the motion package for a real estate campaign running on Meta and YouTube, an admissions film for a school, and original illustration for a brand that needs its own visual language instead of stock.
Two halves, and we need both: identity design that holds up in a guidelines document, and motion that holds attention in the first three seconds of a feed.
What you'd own
You take the brief on the client call yourself. Build the concepts, present them, defend them, revise them, deliver them. No account manager relaying feedback second-hand and no committee diluting the idea before it ships.
That's the trade of a small team. More ownership, more range, more of your original thinking surviving to launch. Also more accountability, since there's nobody to hide behind.
You need
Hands-on command of After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop. Non-negotiable
Brand identity work in your portfolio. Real identity projects, not only social grids
Motion that shows craft in timing, easing and pacing. We can tell templates apart from work
Illustration ability. You draw and build assets, you don't only assemble them
The confidence to sit on a client call, ask the right questions, and hold a design decision under pressure
Two or three live projects at different stages without dropping one
Helps a lot
Premiere Pro. You can cut and finish a video, not just animate over someone else's edit
Shooting on a professional DSLR or mirrorless. Framing, lighting, clean location audio. This moves you to the top of the pile
Basic 3D in Blender or Cinema 4D
Agency experience, or freelancing across several clients at once
Details
Full-time, on-site, Whitefield. ₹[X]–[Y] LPA. [2–4] years experience. Degree in design is welcome, portfolio counts for more.
To apply
CV plus portfolio and showreel. We don't review applications without work.
Then answer this in a few lines: pick one brand identity from your portfolio, tell us the brief, what you decided, and what you'd change about it now.
We read all of them. Nothing separates a designer who thinks from one who executes faster than that question.

If this still isn't landing, tell me which part feels off — too long, too casual, not senior enough in tone — and I'll target that rather than rewriting the whole thing again.
