Job role:
The Art Director will lead the creative department in conceptualizing and executing high-impact visual identities for corporate events, exhibitions, and large-scale productions. You will be responsible for ensuring that every visual touchpoint—from 3D booth architecture to digital motion graphics—is cohesive, innovative, and "larger-than-life.
Key Responsibilities
Spatial & Stage Concept: Lead the design of stage architectures, immersive LED environments, and exhibition layouts. You must ensure designs are open, flow logically, and maximize "hero" visual elements.
Creative Team Leadership: Direct a team of 3D visualizers, graphic designers, and motion artists. You will provide technical guidance on lighting, textures, and structural feasibility.
Brand Integration: Translate client brand guidelines into physical spaces, ensuring that digital content (LED loops/presentations) integrates seamlessly with the physical build.
Client Pitching: Develop and present high-end mood boards and 3D renders. You must be able to articulate the "why" behind design choices to stakeholders.
Technical Oversight: Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to ensure that what is designed in 3D can be built safely and accurately on-site.
Trend Scouting: Stay ahead of event tech trends, including kinetic lighting, AR integration, and sustainable materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Industry Experience: 6+ years in a creative role, with at least 3 years specifically in Events, Exhibitions, or Experiential Marketing.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of 3D software (Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp, or Rhino) to guide visualizers.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Aftereffects).
Strong Understanding of Visual Merchandising, Luxury Brand Portfolio
Spatial Intelligence: A deep understanding of floor plans, traffic flow, and how audiences interact with 3D structures.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with LED resolutions, aspect ratios, and the structural limitations of event materials (MDF, metal, fabric).
Leadership: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight "live event" deadlines.

Grand Scale Vision: A portfolio that demonstrates experience with massive stages (100sqm+) and island exhibition booths.
Cultural Nuance: Ability to incorporate specific cultural or architectural motifs into modern, minimalist designs without clashing styles.
Problem Solver: Calm under pressure during the "build" phase of an event when design adjustments are needed in real-time.
Success Metrics
Pitch Win Rate: The effectiveness of creative concepts in securing new contracts.
