Marketing Manager
A telecom services company supporting enterprise accounts, building out a marketing function for its enterprise business line
Location: Gurugram or Bengaluru, hybrid
Where This Role Sits
This telecom services provider works almost entirely with enterprise and mid-market accounts, and until now marketing has been a shared resource stretched across sales support and the odd event. The company has partnered with Flexiple to hire a Marketing Manager who can turn that into a real function, with its own calendar, its own budget line, and a direct line into how the sales team gets its leads.
What the Job Involves
You will build and run the marketing plan for the enterprise business, working closely with sales leadership to understand what is actually moving deals and building campaigns around that. This is not a brand-awareness mandate; it is a pipeline mandate, and you will be measured on it.
The Day to Day
Campaigns and Delivery
Plan and run account-based and vertical campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and events
Own the marketing calendar and coordinate with agencies and freelance designers
Build the case studies, decks, and one-pagers the sales team actually uses
Numbers and Reporting
Track campaign performance against pipeline contribution, not just clicks
Report monthly to sales and business leadership on what is working
Manage the marketing budget and renegotiate spend that is not earning its keep
What You Bring
4 to 9 years in B2B marketing, ideally with some exposure to telecom, IT, or enterprise services
A track record of campaigns that sales teams actually credit with deals
Comfort working close to a sales organisation and its targets
Clear written and spoken English
Also Useful
Experience setting up a marketing function from close to scratch
Working knowledge of a CRM and marketing automation tool used by a sales team
An MBA or postgraduate qualification in marketing
