Summary
The Driver Manager is responsible for managing dispatch and logistics activities for both internal and external delivery fleets. This position plays a key role in optimizing fleet performance, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining operational and compliance records, and supporting the overall efficiency of transportation operations.

Responsibilities
Coordinate with Construction and Facilities teams to schedule and manage internal and external delivery fleet activities
Maintain accurate daily records of driver hours and equipment utilization within the company's timekeeping system
Review, verify, and process hired hauler payroll and compensation records on a daily basis
Monitor and audit haul rates to ensure accuracy and compliance with established agreements
Administer fleet telematics and vehicle management platforms, including systems such as Motive and Whip Around
Maintain required fleet and driver records within the JJ Keller compliance and safety management system
Order, distribute, and manage inventory of fleet supplies, including release agent and other operational materials
Organize, facilitate, and present safety meetings for delivery personnel; assist with accident reporting, drug testing coordination, near-miss investigations, and other safety-related activities
Track and maintain hired hauler insurance documentation, contracts, and compliance records
Enter and track truck and equipment maintenance issues within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Record and report fleet mileage data in applicable tracking and reporting programs
Demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours and early mornings as operational needs require
Perform hands-on operational tasks, including mixing release agent and assisting with minor equipment and facility repairs
Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred
Maintain current valid driver’s license
Valid CDL preferred
High regard for safety standards
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the role may involve standing, walking, lifting and carrying materials, bending, reaching, and performing light physical labor. The employee must also be able to work effectively in both office and operational environments, utilizing computer systems and other office equipment for extended periods while managing multiple priorities and responding to changing operational demands.
