Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Warehouse Associate role based in Chennai. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving incoming goods, checking documentation, and unloading materials safely. Daily tasks include packing and labeling orders, organizing products on pallets or shelves, and preparing shipments for dispatch. The role also involves operating material-handling equipment, maintaining cleanliness in work areas, and following safety guidelines. The Warehouse Associate works closely with supervisors and team members to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely movement of goods.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving, including verifying shipments, preparing documentation, and coordinating dispatch.
Candidates should possess skills in Packing and Unloading, with attention to product safety, correct labeling, and efficient handling.
Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation and Pallet Jack use, following safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
Basic understanding of inventory control, stock organization, and warehouse record-keeping is beneficial.
Ability to lift and move materials as required, follow safety standards, and work on feet for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is preferred.
