Sales Development Representative

About SpeedrunCI
SpeedrunCI was born inside a game studio.
While building Son of Thanjai at Ayelet Studio, our team experienced firsthand the challenges of managing builds, testing, deployments, and multiple platforms during game development.
So, we built a solution for ourselves.
Today, SpeedrunCI is evolving into a CI/CD platform built specifically for game development teams. As we take the product to studios beyond Ayelet, we’re looking for someone to help us start meaningful conversations with the people and teams who can benefit from it.
The Role
We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative who can help us build the front end of our sales engine.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, understands how technical products work, and is excited by the challenge of selling into a niche and evolving industry.
You will research and identify potential customers, initiate conversations with decisionmakers, understand their workflows and challenges, qualify opportunities, and work closely with the founder and marketing team to build a strong pipeline.
Since SpeedrunCI is a technical product built for game development teams, we’re looking for someone who is comfortable understanding technology and having conversations with technical stakeholders.
You don't need to be a developer. But you should be technically sound, curious, and able to understand what you're selling.
What You'll Do
Researching the gaming market to identify potential clients and new opportunities
Understand target accounts, their development workflows, technology stack, and potential challenges
Supporting outreach, lead follow-ups, sales meetings, and demos
Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities
Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer requirements and assess product fit
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on leads, accounts, and opportunities in the CRM
Follow up consistently with prospects and ensure opportunities continue to move through the pipeline
Work closely with the marketing team to refine messaging, outreach strategies, and ideal customer profiles
Contribute insights from customer and market conversations to help improve our sales strategy and go-to-market approach
Support the preparation of presentations, proposals, and other sales materials when required
What We're Looking For
1–4 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, SDR, BDR, or a similar customer-facing role
Comfortable engaging with technical stakeholders such as developers, engineers, producers, and studio leadership
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong research skills and the ability to understand a prospect before reaching out
A proactive and self-driven approach to work
Comfortable working in an evolving environment where processes are still being built
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a cross-functional team
Bonus Points
Experience selling SaaS, developer tools, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or other technical products
Familiarity with the gaming or game development industry
Prior experience working with game studios or game middleware products is a plus
Why This Role?
SpeedrunCI is at an interesting stage.
The product was built out of a real problem experienced by a game development team. Now, we're taking that experience and technology to other studios.
Joining at this stage means you won't just be following an established sales playbook. You'll have the opportunity to help shape how we identify customers, communicate the product, and build SpeedrunCI's presence in the global gaming industry.
If you're someone who enjoys technology, is confident starting conversations, and wants to sell a product with a real connection to the industry it serves, we'd love to hear from you.
