Role Description This is a full-time remote Java role at PPStack. The Java professional will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services that support PPStack’s learning platforms and digital solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient Java code, implementing Jakarta EE components, developing and integrating microservices, and applying design patterns to ensure robust and maintainable architectures. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, design, data, and content), participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and system performance.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with a focus on Java.
Experience with Jakarta EE for building enterprise-grade applications.
Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Microservices architectures.
Solid understanding and practical application of Design Patterns in software solutions.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and version control (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, collaborate in diverse teams, and communicate clearly in English.
Interest in EdTech, AI-driven solutions, and building products that enhance learning and career outcomes.
