Founder’s Office Associate — Transformer Division
Mangal Electrical Industries Limited (BSE/NSE listed) | Jaipur | Full-time, on-site
About the Role
MEIL is a listed, integrated power equipment manufacturer scaling its Transformer Division from a 66 kV / 25 MVA player into higher-voltage classes, renewable-linked products (solar IDTs, BESS transformers), and eventually HVDC-adjacent segments. A new manufacturing facility is under construction to enable this transition.
You will work directly with the Division Head (promoter family, next-generation leadership) as a force multiplier across strategy, execution, and special projects. This is not a support role — it is an apprenticeship in running an industrial business, with real ownership from day one.
What You’ll Do
• Drive the operating cadence: Run the weekly review system across 12 functional teams (Sales, Production, PPC, Quality, Purchase, Execution & Tendering, and more) — prepare review packs, track commitments, chase closure.
• Own special projects end-to-end: New product type-tests, capacity expansion workstreams, market entry analyses (BESS, solar, exports), incentive and OKR programs.
• Build decision support: TAM analyses, competitive benchmarking, pricing and cost models, board/MD-level presentations.
• Fix broken processes: Identify execution gaps (order delays, procurement bottlenecks, cross-functional handoffs), design the fix, and see it implemented.
• Be the Division Head’s eyes and ears: Sit in critical meetings, capture decisions, ensure follow-through across teams.
Who We’re Looking For
• 2–5 years in consulting, founder’s office, business operations, or a high-growth startup; engineers with an MBA preferred but not mandatory.
• Structured problem-solver — comfortable going from a messy operational question to a clear recommendation with data.
• Strong on Excel/PowerPoint; can build a model and a narrative, not just slides.
• High ownership and low ego — willing to do the unglamorous work of follow-ups and execution, not just strategy.
• Comfortable on a factory floor as much as in a boardroom. Hindi + English fluency.
• Bonus: exposure to manufacturing, power/energy sector, or B2B industrial sales.
Why This Role
• Direct exposure to promoter-level decision-making at a listed company undergoing transformation.
• A genuine growth story: capacity expansion, new product lines, and a move up the voltage ladder — you’ll see (and shape) all of it.
• Fast track to a P&L or functional leadership role for strong performers.
To apply: Send your CV and a short note on one operational problem you’ve solved end-to-end.
