About the Role
We are hiring an experienced and dynamic professional for the position of Team Lead – Trusteeship on behalf of our client. The role involves leading trusteeship operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing client relationships, and driving operational excellence across various trustee mandates.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee end-to-end Trusteeship operations and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with applicable SEBI regulations, Companies Act, RBI guidelines, and transaction documents.
• Monitor covenant compliance, security creation, charge registration, and reporting requirements.
• Manage trustee mandates related to debt issuances, structured finance transactions, escrow arrangements, and other fiduciary assignments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, issuers, investors, legal counsels, and other stakeholders.
• Review and approve compliance reports, transaction monitoring activities, and operational deliverables.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members while ensuring high levels of productivity and service quality.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Business Development.
• Support audits, regulatory inspections, and due diligence exercises.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement operational efficiencies.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
• CA / CS / MBA (Finance) / LLB or equivalent qualification.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in Trusteeship, Debt Capital Markets, Structured Finance, Corporate Trust, or related financial services.
• Strong understanding of SEBI regulations, Companies Act, Debenture Trustee activities, and fiduciary services.
• Experience in managing teams and handling client-facing responsibilities.
