Role Description As a Junior Interior Designer at vivify design studios, you will support project teams in developing design concepts and translating them into clear, detailed drawings and presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and maintaining project documentation. You will collaborate with senior designers, vendors, and contractors, attend site visits in Hyderabad, and help ensure that design intent is carried through to execution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, requiring regular coordination with the internal team and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Ability to work with Space Planning and Interior Design principles to create functional, aesthetically aligned layouts.
Foundational knowledge of Architecture and its application to interior projects, including understanding of building systems.
Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings and related project documentation.
Experience or strong interest in FF&E selection, including furniture, finishes, fixtures, and materials sourcing.
Familiarity with industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic rendering tools.
Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced studio environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, team members, vendors, and contractors.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; internship or junior-level experience in design is an advantage.
