Role Description The Field Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh and focused on supporting the planning and implementation of development projects at the ground level. The individual will coordinate field activities, engage with local stakeholders, beneficiaries, and partner organizations, and collect qualitative and quantitative data through surveys, interviews, and field observations. The role includes documenting field findings, preparing basic reports and presentations, and providing inputs to project teams to improve program design and delivery. The Field Executive will assist in organizing community meetings, training sessions, and awareness campaigns, ensuring timely execution of project tasks and adherence to organizational standards. Collaboration with internal consulting teams and external partners is key, along with maintaining accurate records and reporting on progress to project leads.
Qualifications
Ability to conduct field research, including data collection, surveys, and stakeholder interviews, with strong attention to detail.
Skills in basic documentation, report writing, and use of productivity tools (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to support project reporting.
Capacity to build relationships with communities, local institutions, and partner organizations, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Organizational skills to manage schedules, coordinate field visits, and support events such as community meetings and training programs.
Comfort with working on development-related themes (such as agriculture, education, health, or rural development) and willingness to learn sector-specific concepts.
Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with project teams and following established processes.
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, rural development, management, or a related field; relevant field experience or internships are an advantage.
Proficiency in English and local/regional languages used in and around Chandigarh; strong ethical standards and sensitivity to diverse communities.
Readiness to travel within project locations as required and commitment to contributing
