Role Description The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and managing day-to-day operations of the branch in Odisha in a full-time, on-site capacity. This includes overseeing gold loan and other financial products, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The role involves setting and achieving branch sales and collection targets, supervising and mentoring branch staff, and monitoring cash operations, documentation, and risk controls. The Branch Manager will develop local business relationships, drive marketing and outreach activities, and analyze branch performance data to improve efficiency and profitability. Coordination with regional and head office teams for reporting, audits, training, and implementation of new initiatives is a key part of the role.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong branch operations and people management skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and staff training.
The candidate should be well-versed in gold appraisal and gold loan processing.
Candidates should possess sales and business development capabilities, including target achievement, cross-selling of financial products, and local market networking.
Candidates should possess customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues, and build long-term client trust.
Candidates should possess basic financial and analytical skills, including understanding of lending products, risk awareness, and data-driven decision-making.
Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, including documentation oversight, compliance adherence, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
Relevant experience in gold loans in any NBFCs, banks, or financial services at a supervisory or managerial level is highly beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
Proficiency in MS Office and branch management systems, along with effective communication skills in English and local languages, is desirable.
