About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Australia. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, analysis, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
This is an opportunity to work on engineering projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and practical engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and equipment.
Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
Perform mechanical analysis, testing, and performance evaluations.
Support project planning, engineering reviews, and technical problem-solving.
Collaborate with electrical, civil, manufacturing, and other engineering teams.
Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
Assist with equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, efficiency, and performance.
Maintain accurate engineering records and project documentation.
Support continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
Experience with engineering design and technical documentation.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency with relevant engineering software and CAD tools.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to workplace health, safety, and quality standards.
Desirable
Experience working on Australian engineering projects.
Knowledge of relevant Australian engineering standards.
Experience with manufacturing, industrial, mining, energy, construction, or infrastructure projects.
Professional engineering registration or eligibility, where applicable.
