Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Intern_Accounting role based in New Delhi. The intern will support the finance and accounting team with day-to-day tasks, including preparing and updating financial records, assisting with the creation and review of basic financial statements, and posting journal entries under supervision. Responsibilities include working with accounting software to record transactions, reconciling accounts, and helping with routine reporting and documentation. The role involves performing analytical checks on data, supporting internal audits or compliance activities when needed, and maintaining organized records for timely month-end and year-end processes. The intern will collaborate with team members, follow established procedures, and learn best practices in corporate accounting within the health and wellness industry.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational accounting skills, including working with financial statements and recording journal entries (accounting).
Candidates should possess familiarity with accounting software and basic finance concepts.
Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail when reviewing financial data.
Candidates should possess good MS Excel skills and general computer proficiency.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, manage time effectively, and follow defined processes and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, learning-oriented mindset.
