The role requires a strong combination of deep technical expertise in low-level platform validation and delivery leadership.
The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for validating the foundational platform components that enable reliable operation of the Compute SoC. The lead will own technical execution, test governance, status reporting, issue management, and cross-functional coordination with development teams to ensure timely closure of platform issues and successful release milestones.
This is a highly visible customer-facing role requiring strong technical depth, structured execution, and excellent stakeholder management.
10–12 years of experience in Embedded Linux, Android, or Compute platform validation.
Strong experience in Core Platform Testing on ARM-based SoCs.
Experience working on Qualcomm, Intel, AMD, or similar Compute platforms is highly desirable.
Experience leading customer-facing technical discussions.
Experience presenting technical status to senior engineering leadership.
Strong understanding of release lifecycle, milestone planning, and defect management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Qualcomm Snapdragon Compute platforms.
Knowledge of Android platform internals and Linux BSP.
Familiarity with ChromeOS or Windows on ARM validation.
Exposure to virtualization technologies and PCIe ecosystems.
Experience with AI-enabled test automation, intelligent log analysis, and data-driven validation.
Understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines for platform validation.
Success Metrics
The CPT Test Lead will be measured on:

Milestone readiness and on-time delivery.
