Playwright automation tester

We are seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer with strong experience in TypeScript to design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end web automation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and modern test automation best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
Create robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts.
Automate functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test scenarios.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
Identify, report, and track defects with detailed root cause analysis.
Collaborate with Developers, QA, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
Review application requirements and prepare automation test strategies.
Improve automation coverage and execution efficiency.
Follow coding standards, version control, and automation best practices.
Required Skills
4+ years of experience in Test Automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript.
Experience in developing automation frameworks from scratch.
Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript concepts.
Experience in Web UI automation testing.
Knowledge of API testing using Playwright or REST Assured/Postman.
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
